This product is a good buy. It has a nice easy to read screen, easy to use and comes with a through manual. It all the adapters to test all the cars I have worked on so far. It also comes with a very nice carrying case. The only draw back is that it can not read codes while the car is running. Other than that it is a great buy.

I am kind of a freelance mechanic with better than average knowledge of automobiles. I recommend that anyone who is willing to do their own work on cars own one of these. Save yourself and friends the dealer costs of diagnosing engine problems. This model in particular is extremely easy to use on all vehicles with the OB1 and OB2 systems. The money you save will easily pay for this scanner.

This is the first scanner I’ve ever owned, and I found it to be easy to use and easy to understand. When I had a question I emailed their tech support and got a reply that even I could understand within an hour. In addition to our late-model car, I used it to check an older model (1985 Ford Ranger) equipped with OBD1, and the accompanying adaptor worked perfectly. I’m very happy with this product.

This is a class “A” scanner for the money. It employs all the protocols
including CAN. The only vehicles it won’t work on that i am of aware of are
1995 General Motors “S” & “T” series trucks. As an ex-aircraft mechanic I am very satisfied with this product for the price.
